Walking around Venice I have been struck by the sense of reserve and secrecy, especially when you get into the quiet back streets and canals of Cannaregio. The Cattedrales are really about looking out onto the world, even if your daily world is wound together like a little jewellery box.

Passeggiando per Venezia mi ha colpito il senso di riserbo e di segretezza, specialmente quando si percorrono le calli nascoste e i canali silenziosi di Cannaregio. Le Cattedrales parlano dello sguardo sul mondo, anche quando il nostro mondo quotidiano è avvolto attorno a sé come uno scrigno.
